We had a wonderful stay at Masia Can Pou in Canet de Adri. the location and facilities were wonderful, with lots of character and a breathtaking panoramic view. Our son had a great time playing billiards, badminton, and interacting with the friendly pets on the property. Donatello's 4-course meal was a highlight, showcasing simplicity and balance while utilizing local produce, including vegetables from their garden. Eirene did a fantastic job pairing these outstanding dishes with amazing regional wines. We are grateful for the meticulous care provided, making our vacation special and unforgettable.

The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with rolling hills and a view of the nearby city. We enjoyed hiking on the nearby trails and being surrounded by greenery and flowers. It was a perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The family that owns and runs the property were incredibly sweet and accommodating. Our daughter had a great time playing with their son and they even let her help feed the chickens. The building itself was beautiful and relaxing, giving us a sense of being transported to another time and place.
One downside was the limited wifi signal in the rooms, as mobile coverage was also not great. It would have been more convenient to have a stronger signal in the rooms, especially for taking calls.

We got incredible value for our money at Masia Can Pou! The room was spacious and stunning, with the most beautiful view of the valley and Girona lights. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature and close to attractions like Besalu and Banyoles. The staff treated us like family, with warm and welcoming hospitality.
Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better with the option to enjoy it outside in a courtyard setting. Maybe adding a table and chairs for outdoor dining would be a nice addition.

I absolutely adored the cozy and intimate atmosphere of Masia Can Pou. The decoration, with its charming rustic touches, made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the beautiful garden and inviting seating areas, were easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was such a delight to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for seniors is a clearer map and directions for excursions. Although the children working there were helpful, it would have been easier for us to follow if the directions were more accurate and detailed.

I absolutely loved the cozy and warm feel of the hotel's decoration. The beautiful antique furniture and soft color scheme made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel, such as the lounge and dining rooms, were spacious and comfortable. As a senior, I appreciated that the hotel had easy access with no stairs to climb, making it convenient for me to get around.
I would have liked to see more activities or programs specifically catered towards senior guests.

The private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries was a game-changer for our family. It made getting ready a breeze and added a touch of luxury to our stay. The premium bedding in the guestrooms ensured a comfortable and restful night's sleep. The tile/marble floor in our twin room gave it a clean and modern feel. Plus, having a seating area allowed us to relax and unwind after a long day of adventures in Canet de Adri.
Personally, I found the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom a bit lacking. But hey, that's just my preference.

Masia Can Pou is like being in paradise. The surroundings are so serene, with beautiful views of the golf course and lush greenery. The mansion itself is a labor of love, with every detail in its decor showcasing warmth and charm. Donatello, the chef, prepared the most amazing breakfast for us every morning, with fresh, homemade delights. We felt safe and well taken care of during our stay. Thank you for creating such a perfect summer getaway for families like ours.
My children wanted more activities for kids to enjoy.

We recently stayed at a beautiful countryside retreat and had the most incredible experience. The 17th-century castle-like buildings were tastefully decorated and gave the place a unique charm. The spacious garden and outside areas were perfect for a quiet getaway. The homemade breakfast, with yogurt, bread, cake, jams. We also had dinner one night and it exceeded our expectations. Our room, with its massive size and stunning view overlooking the valley and lights of Girona, was simply breathtaking. The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. We enjoyed walking in the hills, exploring Girona, and relaxing by the pool. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hidden gem.

This was a fantastic stay, and we would absolutely come back. The setting and scenery were better than we could have imagined. Rolling hills, a view of Girona in the far distance, hiking nearby, surrounded by greenery and flowers. The family that owns and runs the property were so sweet and accommodating. Our daughter played with their son most days and had the best time running around, chasing each other, even feeding the chickens. The building itself is absolutely stunning, very relaxing. You feel as though you are transported to another place and time. The food is incredible, with everything being incredibly fresh, homemade, and tailored to what you would want.
We totally recommend this hotel.
